All things considered, the Postojna Caves are probably Slovenia's best known visitor attraction. It's also generally agreed that the Skocjanske caves are much nicer, although Postojna's are certainly worth a visit. The caverns are massive, carved over the past couple million years by the Pivka River. There's a little train that drives you around; inside it's a constant 48 degrees F., 8 C.
