Postojna Caves01

All things considered, the Postojna Caves are probably Slovenia's best known visitor attraction. It's also generally agreed that the Skocjanske caves are much nicer, although Postojna's are certainly worth a visit. The caverns are massive, carved over the past couple million years by the Pivka River. There's a little train that drives you around; inside it's a constant 48 degrees F., 8 C. Difficult to take pics here... Postojna, Slovenia, 24-Jul 2007
